The Journey of Route 66
Come visit the Discovery Center to see an exciting, traveling exhibit that seeks to guide visitors to a greater understanding of Route 66 and its role in American history by showcasing the stories of people, places, and events from 1926 until today! Anyone who wants to learn more about our country and its history will enjoy the display's themes such as:
- history of Route 66
- evolution of automobile travel
- communities and populations
- traveler accounts
Visitors to America’s Road have the opportunity to interact with the exhibit and each other in several ways:
- Population change over time map
- Drive-in theater experience
- Share travel stories
- Guess-the-artist radio show
- And more!

Movie in the Park
Join us for Movies at Founders special Birthplace of Route 66 Festival outdoor movie at Jordan Valley Park, Aug. 11, with Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs. Admission is FREE. Bring your own lawn chairs and blankets. Movie will begin at dusk (about 9 p.m.).
